Young people often don’t have the financial means to purchase a fully equipped car. At the same time, many features—some of which feel unnecessary—drive up costs and become a barrier to buying a new vehicle in the first place. This raises the question of how a base model car could be designed to remain affordable initially, while allowing it to be upgraded over time.
